Blazers Legionnaires Empty Netter
Brayden Camrud sealed Saskatoon's win on Sunday with an empty net goal

The Evans Brothers Home Hardware Legionnaires dropped a pair of home games over the weekend to the Saskatoon Blazers.

On Saturday, the Blazers won 6-4, before defeating the Legionnaires 3-1 yesterday.

The two losses extending Swift Current season long losing streak to twelve games, however Head Coach Mike Rossiter still sees plenty of positives.

"They worked hard, they pushed, there were some scrambles and we had a goal disallowed, it is just a matter of some breaks and we are bound to get them then the streak will end. They are working hard at practice and in games, it is a really good dressing room and the attitude is positive because they want to get better and they know at the end of the day this team will be one of the top teams in the league at the end of the year. There is just so much young talent here," he said.

Even with the recent struggles, Rossiter adds the team his time is continuing fight through it.

"I'd be more upset if they were complacent about the loss, but they are upset that they lost and that shows that they are still engaged and they want to win and that's the same way we are as a coaching staff. I'm not even sure where the streak is at, but it will end, we're not going to go 0-30. We're probably not going to light the league on fire this year, but it is part of the process of coming in here knowing we needed to get young and when you do that there will be some growing pains but we are okay with that as long as they are learning and getting better," he said.

The Legionnaires will look to end the slide Thursday night in Moose Jaw.
