The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionairres are in action tonight when they host the Moose Jaw Generals.

The Legion are coming off a good showing at the Kelowna International Major Midget Tournament. They went 3-1-1 and barely missed the tournament playoffs.

"We had some great games up there," said Legionnaires Coach/GM Jason Johns. "We liked the result and the effort we saw in all of the games."

The Legion wil not have services of defenceman Mason Logan for the rest of the year as has decided to discontinue playing at the AAA level.

"That was his and his family's choice," Johns said. "We are gonna miss him, appreciate the work he put in and wish him the best of luck with everything."

Johns is searching for a replacement for Logan as the Legionnaries are facing their own roster deadline.

Swift Current sits in sixth place in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League while the Generals head into tonights match-up tied for second.

Puck Drop is at 8 PM at the Credit Union I-Plex.
