The Legionnaires will look to improve their 4-6 record with a win tonight

After playing seven of their last nine games on the road, the Home Hardware Midget 'AAA' Legionnaires will begin a six game homestand tonight.

With the team returning to the iPlex, Legionnaires captain Gage Misskey is eager to show the city how much dedication and work is being put into this year's team.

"Being a third year guy on this team and wearing the 'C', this team means a lot to me. Of course, having the support of the community coming out and watching us this weekend would definitely mean a lot to us. It gives us a chance to prove to everybody we have changed, and show them how we have changed," he said.

Trying to turn around the struggles of the Legionnaires in recent years, Head Coach Mike Rossiter says it is just a matter of building the team's confidence.

"When thsi team wants to play at their level, they can skate with anybody, it is just getting them be believe in themselves and have that commitment whether we're playing the first place team, or at team at, or near the bottom of the standings. Once we get that figured out, I think we are going to see a lot of good things," he said.

The Legionnaires will host the Tisdale Trojans tonight and tomorrow in a two game weekend series.

Tonight's game is scheduled for 7:45pm at the iPlex, with tomorrow's game set for 1:45 also from the iPlex.
