Steven Duscherer started the first half of the game and allowed three goals on 15 shots. Half way through the game Cody Levesque came in and shut the door as he stopped all 16 of the shots he faced.

Moose Jaw led 3-2 after the first period as the Generals and Legionaries traded goals, but Swift Current scored four straight goals through the second and third periods.

Rhett Stevenson and Mykllan Couture both picked up two points and Lucas Ochitwa had a power play goal. The Legionnaires power play went one for five, while the Generals' went one for eight. Beny's marker came shorthanded.
