After a solid rookie season at the Midget AAA level and a strong showing at Prince Albert Raiders training camp, Home Hardware Legionnaires forward Logan Linklater inked a WHL Standard Player Agreement Tuesday afternoon.

The Kindersley product tallied 32 points (14 G, 18 A) in 39 games with the Legionnaires last season, and carried momentum over the off-season into fall camp with the reigning WHL Champions.

The shifty 16-year-old forward recorded a goal in the Raiders' Green and White game to wrap up camp on Labour Day.

Linklater, who continually showed grit and physicality beyond his size last season with the Legionnaires, impressed the hockey operations staff enough for the team to officially bring him on board as part of an ultra-skilled, youthful contingent in the Gateway to the North.

The 2003-born prospect was originally selected in the sixth round (115th overall) by the Raiders in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
