The Home Hardware Legionnaires dropped another close game to the Moose Jaw Generals, losing 4-3 in their last game before the Christmas break Thursday night at Mosaic Place.

The Generals scored the go-ahead goal with 2:26 to go in regulation to win the third meeting between the two teams. The Legionnaires lost 2-1 to the Generals in October before rebounding with a 6-3 win a month later.

Bryce Hall had a goal and an assist for the Legionnaires Thursday. Reid Fritzke and Chaseton Sare also scored and Evan Armstrong had two helpers. Shane Blomquist made 34 saves in the loss.

The Legionnaires resume league play on January 9th when they host the Battlefords.

In other minor hockey, the Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats head up to Prince Albert tonight and tomorrow in their final games before the holiday break, and next week's Mac's Midget Tournament in Calgary.
