The Home Hardware Midget 'AAA' Legionnaires found their way back into the win column Saturday afternoon in Regina.

Taking on the Pat Canadians for the second time in as many days, the Legionnaires managed to snap their four game losing streak with a 5-2 win.

Swift Current jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, when Matthew Jones found the back of the net just over a minute into the game.

Regina responded quickly to tie the game, however, the Legionnaires scored two more goals before the end of the opening period, one from Tyde Hutchinson and one from Drieden Gauthier to give Swift Current a 3-1 lead heading into the first intermission.

Tristian Carey extended the Swift Current lead with the lone goal of the second period.

Just under a minute into the final frame Matthew Kesslering made it 5-1 Legionnaires.

Regina scored a late goal with under two minutes remaining in the game to round out the scoing.

Thomas Martineau picked up the win in goal for Swift Current stopping 49 of the 51 shots he faced.

Next up for the Legionnaires will be a road game in Notre Dame against the Argos tomorrow night.
