A hat-trick for Tim Vanstone helped the Home Hardware Midget Legionnaires in a 6-3 victory over the Yorkton Harvest yesterday at home.

 

Carter Forsyth, Cody McKinnon and Justin Spagrud also scored for the Legionnaires, while goalie Kyler Beckett made 32 saves for the win.

 

It's the Legionnaires' second win in a row, after beating the Harvest 4-3 on Saturday. They host the Saskatoon Contacts next weekend.

The Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats are still looking for their first win, after losing 5-2 to Saskatoon to drop both ends of a weekend homestand.

 

Brooklyn Haubrich and Jill Kennedy scored for the Wildcats, who were also shut out 4-0 by Saskatoon on Saturday. The Wildcats visit Notre Dame next Wednesday.

The Kabos Bantam Raiders lost 3-2 to Weyburn in their home opener yesterday, with Marcus Kouri and Tanner Fritzke scoring for the home team. The Raiders host the Regina Canucks in their next game on Saturday.
