A natural hat-trick for Jordan Wittman helped the Home Hardware Midget Legionnaires to a big home win yesterday.

Wittman scored three straight in the second period as the Legionnaires beat the Battlefords Stars 5-1 . Daylan Gatzke and Cody McKinnon also scored for the Legionnaires, while goalie Kyler Beckett made 31 saves in the win.
 
The Legionnaires host the Stars again today at 3:30 from the Credit Union iplex.
 
The K-Motel Midget Hurricanes scored a blowout 13-0 win over the Pipestone Valley Jets, with top sniper Hayden Johnston picking up three goals and three assists. The Hurricanes visit Lumsden-Bethune on Tuesday.

The other local hockey game Saturday had the Kabos Bantam Raiders coming from behind to tie Estevan 8-8.
