The Home Hardware Midget Legionnaires rallied from down 2-0 after 40 minutes to knock off the Regina Pat Canadians 3-2 in overtime Tuesday night.

Morgan Greve and Reid Fritzke scored in the third to tie the game, and Josh Stang got the winner with under two minutes left in the extra frame.

"I thought the boys came out, from the puck drop, we battled hard," said Legionnaires Assistant Coach Tony Francouer. "We got into penalty trouble again, but we battled through some adversity and got it done."

Shane Blomquist made 31 saves for the win, with the shot count at 35-34 for the Pat C's.

The Legionnaires head to the Battlefords next weekend, and play at home next on November 14th against Moose Jaw.

In minor hockey action tonight, it will be another test for the K-Motel Midget AA Hurricanes, as they'll host the Regina Capitals at the Fairview Arenas.

"We're sticking to our game plan, nothing's going to change," said Hurricanes Coach Greg Hurrell. "We just go hard on them, finish our checks, get it over the red line, dump it in 2-on-2, and we'll go from there."

Hurrell says as well as they've played, they are still coming together as a team and have a lot to work on.

Game time is 8:15pm.

Last night, the Bert Legault - Royal LePage Southland female midget Titans beat Notre Dame 1-0, with the winner scored on a penatly shot by Braylen Veason with two seconds remaining in the game. They head to Weyburn and Estevan this weekend.
