Zac Mackay has been looking to make the most of his latest opportunity with the Broncos

Two members of the Swift Current Midget AAA Home Hardware Legionnaires are getting a shot with the Swift Current Broncos this week.

Swift Current product, Zac Mackay made his season debut with the big club on Tuesday after playing nine games in the league as a 15-year-old.

"I've got a little more experience in the league. Another year of hockey in the midget league and knowing the guys a little better and getting to know what the game is like, I think it will help me out with everything," Mackay says regarding his aspirations to stick full time with the Broncos.

Mackay was joined by Midget rookie and Stewart Valley native Jordan Wittman in the Broncos lineup on Tuesday.

Mackay has 28 points in 24 games for the Legionnaires while Wittman has 13 in 27 games. Both will be with the team today when they travel to Regina to play the Pats.

You can catch the broadcast on The Eagle 94.1 starting with the pre-game show at 6:30 pm.
