The Swift Current duo of Brent Wotypka and Cathy Hopfner placed 2nd in the Provincial Mixed Championships, hosted by the Elbow Harbour Golf Club over the weekend.

     The two combined for a first round 69 and a 2nd round 68 to finish 2nd, which was five shots behind the winning team of Ziglo and Ector.

     Wotypka and Hopfner were five under for the tournament.
