Seven Special Olympics' swimmers competed at a meet in Regina yesterday and pulled off a sweep of sorts.
All seven qualified for Special Olympics Saskatchewan Provincial Games that will be held in Saskatoon in June of 2013.
Special Olympics Swift Curren Coach, Jackie Powell, says the swim meet was very good.
"We took seven swimmers from Swift Current and they all swam very well," explains Powell. "We entered them in some different events to give them some variety and they all did very well."
Two other swimmers previously qualified for the 2013 Provincial Games at a meet that was held in Swift Current in February.
The swim team will be fundraising by selling hotdogs at the Brick this weekend.
