Vancouver Canucks centre Manny Malhotra has been cleared to play in the Stanley Cup final against Boston.

Malhotra hasn't played since March 16th when a deflected puck exploded into his left eye and almost cost him his vision. He was recently able to participate in light contact practices during the Western Conference Final.

It's unknown if Malhotra will be in the lineup for the opening game of the Final on Wednesday in Vancouver.

This year's Memorial Cup will be decided tonight, with the host Mississauga St. Michael's Majors facing the Saint John Sea Dogs. The Majors beat Cody Eakin and the Kootenay Ice in Friday's semifinal to book their spot in the final, while the Sea Dogs finished first in the round-robin to earn a bye into the championship game.
