Aneroid's Patrick Marleau and Team Canada accomplished a rare feat winning gold in back to back Olympic men's hockey tournaments.
It's the first time Canada has done that since 1948 and 1952.
They beat Sweden 3-0 in the gold medal game as millions of Canadians woke up early to watch a battle that started at 6am Saskatchewan time.
Marleau finished with four assists in the tournament and a second gold medal after helping Canada to a victory in 2010 as well.
Jonathan Toews, Sidney Crosby and Saskatchewan's own Chris Kunitz had the goals for Canada on Sunday.
Carey Prince made 24 saves.
