Aneroid's Patrick Marleau is a finalist for an NHL year-end player award.

The San Jose Sharks forward is up for the Lady Byng Trophy, which is presented to the league's most sportsmanlike player. Marleau had 70 points in the regular season and 18 penalty minutes.

He was also a Lady Byng finalist in 2007 with Pavel Datsyuk of the Detroit Red Wings winning the trophy that year.

The other finalists are Ryan O'Reilly from the Colorado Avalanche and Martin St. Louis from the New York Rangers. The winner will be announced at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas on June 24th.

Marleau and the Sharks will continue their playoff series tonight with the LA Kings at Staples Center, with San Jose holding a two-games-to-none lead.
