Aneroid's Patrick Marleau had the only goal for the San Jose Sharks, as they dropped a 3-1 decision to the L-A Kings in NHL playoff action Saturday night.

The Sharks lead the series 3-2, with game six set for Monday in Los Angeles.

In other action, Nathan Horton scored in double overtime for the Boston Bruins as they beat the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 in game five last night. The Bruins lead the series 3-2 and game six in on Monday in Montreal.

Washington moved on to the next round after beating the Rangers 3-1, and Tampa Bay staved off elimination in a big way, hammering Pittsburgh 8-2 on the road. The Penguins lead the series 3-2 with game six set for Monday.

 

Tonight, the Chicago Blackhawks will look to force a seventh and deciding game tonight when they host Vancouver.  The Canucks won the first three games of the series, but the Hawks have taken the last two, outscoring the Canucks 12-2. The Sabres will look to close out the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 6 of their series, and Nashville faces Anaheim in Game 6 of that series, with the Predators holding a 3-2 lead over the Ducks.
