Aneroid's Patrick Marleau will be staying in San Jose, after signing a three-year contract extension with the Sharks today.
Marleau is in his 16th season with the Sharks, and has 21 goals and 47 points in 51 games this season.
He is a former Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaire who played minor hockey in this area before heading to Seattle for his WHL career.
Marleau will play for Canada at the upcoming winter Olympics.
His teammate Joe Thornton also signed a three-year extension today.
