Cabri's Shaun Meachem and the Adam Casey rink moved to 2-1 at the Sasktel Tankard last night with a 12-6 win over Team Bryden.

Team Casey fell behind Randy Bryden's side early, giving up a three-rock fourth end to trail 5-3.

"It was a little frustrating in the first part of the game there," said Meachem, the Second on Team Casey. "They were playing really well - we were taking a few chances here and there, and they cracked us with that three-ball there [in the fourth end] and we were feeling a little shaky after that."

Down two heading into the fifth end, however, fortunes shifted in Team Casey's favour - the Regina-based team put of five in the fifth and didn't look back.

"We just stuck with it," Meachem added. "Everybody is throwing really well, and we just got the big end in 5 there, and after that we just started playing a little bit more defensive and we actually still were able to score points - we're pretty solid when we get up on a team."

They're back at it again in Draw 7 at noon today when they face Team Laycock.
