An easy road win on Friday night marked the end of the November league schedule for the Swift Current Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos.

The Midget Broncos thumped the Moose Jaw Warriors 8-1 in Moose Jaw.

The contest started off a lot closer than the end result showed, however.

Swift Current led 2-0 through the first period. Moose Jaw responded four minutes into the second frame to cut the lead to one.

That 2-1 score ended up lasting until seven minutes remained in the second period.

With 6:58 left, the Midget AA Broncos pounced on the Warriors, scoring the first of four unanswered before the end of the second, to take a 6-1 lead into the second intermission.

Swift piled on another pair in the third to remove any chance of a comeback.

A pretty even scoring distribution gave the Midget AA Broncos the win, with six players recording two-point games.

Cash Arntsen posted a game-high two goals, John Priela, Beau Larson, Matt Christianson, and Ryland Hornung all added a goal and an assist, while Levi Lamotte added two helpers.

Brad Nyen faced just nine shots in net, making eight saves.

At the other end, Swift pumped the MJ net to the tune of 51 shots, as they rose to 17-0-0-0 in the win.

Looking to continue the tremendous start to the season, the Midget AA Broncos kick off their December schedule this coming weekend.

They host the Estevan Bruins Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's penciled in for a 5:15 p.m. start at Fairview West.
