The 2018 half of the 18-19 league schedule wrapped up on an undefeated note for the Swift Current Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos on the road Friday.

At 23-0-0-0, Swift Current cruised to a 4-1 win over the second-place Prairie Storm Extreme.

The Midget AA Broncos used a goal and two assists from Levi Lamotte, two goals from Ryland Hornung, and a solo goal from Beau Larson in the win.

Cash Arntsen and Quinn Patenaude chipped in with one helper apiece, and Justin Dueck recorded the win in net for Swift.

Recapping a ridiculously efficient 2018 portion of the schedule:

The Midget Broncos were 11-0 at home and 12-0 on the road.

They scored 117 times for an average of 5.1 goals per game, and gave up just 31 goals for a stout mark of 1.3 goals-against per game.

Hornung is tied for the league-lead in scoring with 41 total points (16 G, 25 A), while Dueck is the league's top goalie, with a 1.25 goals-against average.

The Midget AA Broncos now have 13 league games remaining, and play their next one January 4 back on the road against the Prairie Storm.
