The Swift Current Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos made light work of a weekend set at home against the Regina Capitals to keep their undefeated season alive.

The Midget AA Broncos out-scored the Capitals 15-5 over their two-game set.

Swift Current won 5-2 on Saturday.

Ryland Hornung had a trio of assists, Levi Lamotte had two goals, and Quinn Patenaude added two assists in the game. Brad Nyen stopped 15 of 17 Capitals shots in net.

Sunday was a beat-down, as the Midget AA Broncos were firing on all cylinders in a 10-3 victory.

Forward Beau Larson out-scored the Capitals by himself as he notched a hat-trick, adding two assists. Brock Oberle had a strong performance himself, with two goals and four total points.

Eight other Midget AA Broncos recorded multi-point games, while Justin Dueck made 12 saves in the win.

Swift moves to 12-0-0-0 on the season, and looks to gain their 13th this Wednesday, when they welcome the Notre Dame Hounds (3-4-1-1) to town.

Puck drop between the Broncos and Hounds is 7:30 p.m. at Fairview West arena.
