The Swift Current Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos secured a pair of wins over the weekend to continue their scorching start to the season.
The Midget Broncos were on the road in the provincial capital, defeating the Regina Vics 6-2 on Saturday, and then hosted the Notre Dame Argos with a 3-1 win on Sunday.
On Saturday, Ryland Hornung, Quinn Patenaude, and Levi Lamotte each recorded a goal and three assists to lead the way for Swift.
Beau Larson (2 G), Cash Arntsen (2 A), and Brock Oberle (2 A) added multi-point efforts, while Brad Nyen made 27 saves for the Midget AA Broncos in the win.
On Sunday, Swift Current led 2-0 into the second period, surrendering a goal with nine minutes left in the frame - they responded with a goal 75 seconds later to secure the 3-1 victory at Fairview West.
Justin Dueck made 19 saves in the win, while Beau Larson had a goal and assist for the lone multi-point game, as the Midget AA Broncos now sit at 16-0-0-0 on the 2018-19 season.
Swift Current is next in action November 23, their final game of the month, as they head out on the road against the Moose Jaw AA Warriors (1-10-0-0).
