In unsurprising fashion, the undefeated season continues for the Swift Current Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos.

Swift Current moved to 25-0-0-0 after a pair of weekend road wins to kick off the 2019 portion of the regular-season schedule.

Friday was an easy 7-2 win over the Prairie Storm Extreme, before the Midget AA Broncos smoked the Moose Jaw Warriors 11-0 on Sunday.

Justin Dueck was in net for the Friday win, while Brad Nyen recorded a ten-save shutout on Sunday.

On the offensive side of things, it was a stat-padding kind of weekend for Swift Current, as ten players averaged over a point-per-game over the weekend:

Ryan McCleary - 2 G, 3 A
Riley Skarbon - 2 G, 3 A
Beau Larson - 2 G, 2 A
Chase Sawchuk - 2 G, 2 A
Brock Oberle - 2 G, 2 A
John Priela - 1 G, 3 A
Ryland Hornung - 1 G, 3 A
Quinn Patenaude - 2 G, 1 A
Kaden Floberg - 1 G, 2 A
Cash Arntsen - 1 G, 2 A

The Midget AA Broncos are back home Wednesday, rounding out a home-and-home with that same Warriors squad. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. at Fairview West arena.
