Nearly a double-digit win closed out the regular season schedule for the Swift Current Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos yesterday.

The Midget Broncos used a trio of goals in all three periods to down the Notre Dame Hounds 9-0 on the road in Wilcox.

An even point distribution saw 13 Swift skaters register points, while six notched multiple.

Beau Larson and Matthew Christianson each chipped in a goal and two assists. Brock Oberle, Ryland Hornung, and Jackson Sitter all had a goal and an assist, while Hendrik DeKlerk added two helpers.

Riley Skarbon, Brock Herter, Rhett Evjen, and Colt Kornfeld also found the back of the net, while Hunter Johnson, John Priela, and Levi Lamotte contributed with single assists.

Brad Nyen picked up the W in net for the Midget AA Broncos, who finish as the #4-seed in the league.

The fourth-place Broncos (21-9-4-2) will face the fifth-place Estevan Bruins (22-12-2-0) in the opening round of playoffs.

Game 1 in the best-of-five series is Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Fairview West.
