The Midget 'AAA' 57's will hope a trip away from Mitchell Field will be just what they need to find their first victory of the young 2017 season.

Having started their 2017 campaign with four straight home games, the 57's were unable to get in the win column, losing back-to-back game to the Southeast Twins, before falling twice to the Muenster Red Sox.

Swift Current's first road game of the season will be played Wednesday night when they take a trip to Regina to take on the Athletics.

So far this season, the Athletics have played a pair of games against the Saskatoon Diamondbacks which they split.

After Saskatoon defeated Regina 12-2, the A's bounced back for a 9-8 victory.

Wednesday's contest will be the first of four ball games between the 57's and Athletics this season.

Swift Current managed to go 3-1 against the A's last year.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:00pm from Currie Field.

The 57's will then visit the Northwest Pirates for a double-header on Sunday.
