A look at the "AAA" Legionnaires, "AA" Hurricanes, "A" Wild and some provincial results.

The season came to an end on a rough note for the Home Hardware "AAA" Legionnaires.  They were thumped 9-2 on home ice by Regina thanks to 8 powerplay goals.  The Legionnaires goals came from Shayne Neigum and Shayne Grose.

The Legion finish the season 11th out of 12 teams with a record of 7-34-2-1.

The K-Motel "AA" Hurricanes finished off the regular season with two games against Melville.  The teams tied 3-3 Saturday, the Hurricanes won yesterday 4-1.  They now prepare for game two of their 3rd round provincial series with Caronport Wednesday.

The Remax Tier II Wild have advanced in provincials.  Last night at the Fairview they beat North Battleford 3-2 to win the two game series 5-4.  They will now attend the provincial tournament in Prince Albert March 10th and 11th.

The Frontier Midget Flyers have advanced to the southern "C" provincial final.  Frontier beat Avonlea 9-7 in the two game total point series.
