A heartbreaking end to a great run at provincials for the Swift Current Midget AA Indians.
They went through the round-robin undefeated and then beat Moose Jaw 3-0 in the semi-final at the tournament this weekend in Yorkton, before dropping the final against the North East Pirates 6-4 in 10 innings.
The Pirates will represent Saskatchewan at the Western Canadian Championships in Swift Current August 15th to 17th, and the Indians will also be there as the host team.
