Midget Indians Host Moose Jaw

The Midget AA Indians are hoping to continue their winning ways tonight against the Moose Jaw Devons.

After an undefeated weekend at the Swift Current Invitational tournament, they head back into AAA league play this evening.

"I think over this last weekend in the tournament our bats started to come alive a little bit," said Midget AA Indians Coach Neil Hogg. "Hopefully this now will carry over into AAA play. Anytime you can rattle off five wins like that it really does help confidence."

Zac Mackay gets the call to the mound to start tonight's game.

Hogg wants to see his pitchers command the strike zone a little better.

"We've been struggling with the walks," Hogg said. "Zac has been our most consistent pitcher and hopefully that continues tonight."

Game time is 6pm and the game has been moved to Mitchell Field in Swift Current.
