Two local midget hockey teams wrap up their regular season tonight.
For the Swift Current Midget AAA Home Hardware Legionnaires it's the last game of their season entirely.
They lost 6-2 in Regina last night. Kyle Sachkowski and Jarett Gerlach scored for Swift Current in a losing cause.
The Legionnaires missed the playoffs and will wrap up 2013-14 at home against the Notre Dame Hounds.
They will be saying goodbye to their graduating 17-year-olds like captain Reid Fritzke and Shane Blomqvist tonight as they welcome the Hounds to the Credit Union iPlex at 8pm.
Also tonight the Midget AA K-Motel Hurricanes wrap their regular season schedule in Wilcox against the Notre Dame Bantam Hounds.
The Hurricanes can tie the Regina Capitals on top of the South Saskatchewan league standings, but Regina owns the tie-breaker and will finish first regardless of tonight's result.
Swift Current is coming off wins over Estevan and the Prairie Storm on the weekend.
