The Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats suffered a two-game sweep at the hands of the Weyburn Gold Wings, losing 4-1 Saturday and 5-3 on Sunday.

Chloe Smith opened the scoring for the Wildcats in the first period, but the defending Esso Cup Champion Gold Wings responded with four unanswered goals en route to the victory on Saturday. Brooklyn Haubrich, Gabrielle Gray and Merissa Zerr scored for Swift Current on Sunday.

The Wildcats visit the Prince Albert Bears next weekend.

The Kabos Bantam Raiders also suffered a tough loss at home, losing 6-1 to the Melville Millionaires Saturday afternoon at the Fairview Arenas. Matthew Christianson scored the only goal for the Raiders, who are now off until their annual home tournament, which goes Friday through Sunday at the Fairview Arenas.

The Bert Legault Female Midget AA Titans lost to the Regina Ravens 7-4 on Sunday. Their next league game is on November 26th when they host the Notre Dame Hounds.

The SWT Pee Wee Broncos finished second in a tournament in Prince Albert, going undefeated in round-robin with an 8-3 win over Tisdale, a 16-3 victory over Meadow Lake, and a 4-1 win over the Saskatoon Express. They then defeated Humboldt 4-3 in overtime on a penalty shot goal by Reed Jacobson in A semi-final, but then lost 5-3 to Warman in the A final to pick up the silver medal.

The Tarpon Energy Atom Broncos finished second at their home tournament this weekend, losing to Okotoks in Sunday's A Final. They also went unbeaten in the round robin with a 17-4 win over Taber, a 4-4 tie with Saskatoon, and a 6-4 win over the Battlefords.

The Atoms resume league play next weekend when they host Melville for a pair of games at the Credit Union iplex.
