Minor hockey action for Swift Current teams gets going in full force this weekend.
The Midget AAA Home Hardware Legionnaires open their regular season with two games in Yorkton.
They'll visit the Harvest both Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.
Meanwhile, the Midget AA K-Motel Hurricanes open their regular season in Wilcox against the Notre Dame Hounds at 2pm Saturday.
Their home opener is Sunday against that same Notre Dame squad at 3pm at the Credit Union iPlex.
The Bantam AA Kabos Raiders open their regular season Saturday against Estevan at Fairview West Arena.
Puck drop is 5:45pm.
The female Midget AAA Diamond Energy Wildcats are in Manitoba for an exhibition tournament.
