A split for the Swift Current Midget AAA Home Hardware Legionnaires this weekend.
Josh Strang scored twice as the Legionnaires came from down 2-1 and 3-2 to beat Beardy's Blackhawks 5-4 on Saturday.
Tristan Hermanson scored with 1:45 left in the third period to pull Swift Current ahead.
The Legionnaires then fell 5-1 in Prince Albert on Sunday. They'll visit the Notre Dame Hounds on Wednesday.
In Midget AA hockey, the Swift Current K-Motel Hurricanes couldn't hold a 4-1 lead in a 4-4 tie against Moose Jaw on Saturday.
Jordan Wittman scored twice and had an assist in the tie.
The Hurricanes visit the Notre Dame Bantam Hounds on Tuesday.
The Swift Current Tarpon Energy AA Atom Broncos were on the road to take on the Melville Millionaires.
They took both games posting a 12-5 win Saturday and cruised to an 8-1 win Sunday. They're in Moosomin next weekend.
Meanwhile in female Midget AAA hockey, Melville beat the Swift Current Diamond Energy Wildcats 4-1 on Saturday to snap their five game winning streak.
The Wildcats rebounded on Sunday with a 2-1 win over Melville in the shootout.
Swift Currents hosts Prince Albert on Saturday at Fairview West Arena.
