The Redneck Betties spent the weekend in Moose Jaw at the Down 'N' Derby Roller Derby tournament.
The 4 team event included the Betties, along with Regina based, Pile O Bones, Saskatoon and the Moose Jaw Jaw Breakers.
In their opening game, the Betties fell to Saskatoon, 177-153.
In their second game, they found their way into the win column, defeating Moose Jaw 310-122.
The Betties, however, were unable to make it 2 wins in a row, as they lost 273-67 to Pile O Bones.
The Betties will be back in Swift Current on August 29th, but not for roller derby, as they will be putting on the 5 kilometer Amazing Race.
