Stewart Valley native Travis Moen is four wins away from realizing his dream of winning a Stanley Cup.

Moen and the Anaheim Ducks are enjoying two days off at home before beginning the Stanley Cup final Monday night against Ottawa.

SCOL Sports caught up with Travis from his Anaheim home.  Moen admits the Stanley Cup is tough to get off his mind, "I think you always think about it but it's going to be a long series, pretty grueling.  We're just going to go out and play our best and hopefully win the cup."

He admits his phone has been ringing a lot lately after the Ducks won the Western Conference Championship over Detroit in six games.  "I think I had about fifteen phonecalls or something like that after beating Detroit. It's nice to see family and friends are supporting me so it's been great."

Moen has collected four goals and five assists in the post-season so far - one of those four goals was the overtime winner against Vancouver in game four,  "that was pretty cool, as a little kid you dream about scoring the big goal in a game and be able to do that and put ourselves up 3-1 against Vancouver was pretty cool."

As for the upcoming Stanley Cup final against the Ottawa Senators, Moen expects his assignment will be to try and shutdown Ottawa's big line of Dany Heatley, Jason Spezza and Daniel Alfredsson.  "Yeah I would imagine, they have a pretty skilled line with those three guys and our line is a checking line so I would imagine will be paired up probably against those guys."
