Richard Nedomlel learned from a legend at Red Wings development camp

Drafted Broncos Richard Nedomlel, Reece Scarlett and Steffan Soberg recently attended their first NHL development camps.

Nedomlel says he spent some time with NHL legend Chris Chelios at the recent Red Wings development camp. He says Chelios encouraged him to play a harder game and to fire some more shots on net.

The big Czech defenceman says it was a new experience and he picked up some tips from old NHLers on how to maximize his time in the gym.

Scarlett was at New Jersey's camp while Soberg attended Washington Capitals camp. Former Broncos Captain Cody Eakin was also at the Caps camp. Another former Broncos Captain, Justin Dowling attended the Flames development camp.

Adam Lowry was drafted by the Winipeg Jets and will attend their rookie camp later in the summer.
