New Agreement for Broncos

The City of Swift Current has entered into a new five-year agreement to rent out the city-owned Credit Union iplex to the Broncos.

City Rec and Parks Director Dean Robson says it replaces the previous one-year agreements between the city and the hockey club:

The agreement also accounts for special events at the iplex, similar in scale to the Ford World Women's Curling Championships last spring.

Those events must be booked at least a year in advance and last five days or longer for the Broncos to alter their schedule, and can only happen once a year.
