There are a few Swift Current Broncos who will be keeping a close eye on their phone and the TV this weekend.

The NHL Draft is set for tonight and tomorrow in Buffalo with three Broncos named on NHL Central Scouting's final rankings.

Max Lajoie has been on the draft radar all year and finished ranked 44th among North American skaters.

He finished 87th on the final list for TSN's Craig Buton.

Lajoie put up 37 points in 62 games in 2015-16. He finished strong with 22 points in his final 27 games.

Two other Broncos made it on the NHL Central Scouting rankings on their final list.

Defenceman Colby Sissons is ranked 140th among North American skaters and forward Tyler Steenbergen is 199th.

Sissons had 22 points in 71 games as a 17-year-old rookie defenceman.

Steenbergen broke out in the second half of his sophomore season and ended up with 46 points in 67 games. He scored 18 of his 20 goals after Christmas.

The Broncos have had players selected in each of the last two first rounds. Dallas picked Julius Honka 14th overall in 2014 and Boston nabbed Jake DeBrusk 14th in 2015.

The first round is slated for tonight in Buffalo with rounds 2-7 starting tomorrow morning.
