Despite the departure of first round import draft selection Steffen Soberg, the Swift Current Broncos are not on the market for a new starting goaltender.

Coach and General Manager Mark Lamb says last weekend's 6-5 and 7-1 losses don't have him convinced he needs to make a move, with only a few bad shifts between Austin Smith and Steven Myland.

Smith had a 0.932 save percentage through three pre-season games before allowing 6 goals in 2 periods against Prince Albert on Friday.

He played 11 games in his rookie season and finished with an 0.871 save percentage.

Myland is a 17-year-old rookie and was the top goaltender in the BC Major Midget league last season.

The Broncos start the regular season with a home and home against Regina on Friday and Saturday.
