A full weekend of minor baseball competition for Swift Current teams.

The Bantam 'AAA' Indians just missed a medal in their home tournament, falling in the bronze medal game.

Taking on Weyburn in the third place contest, the Tribe lost by one, 8-7.

Also hosting their annual home tournament over the weekend, the Mosquito 'AAA' Indians lost in the 'D' final.

The Mosquito squad won their opening game of the event 4-2 over Melville.

However, after that, Swift Current was unable to get much going.

The Indians fell to the Midwest Diamondbacks 6-0 and Sask 5, 11-7, before dropping a 6-5 decision to White Butte in the 'D' final.

In league play the Pee Wee 'AAA' Indians had a perfect weekend.

They swept a pair of games in Weyburn before sweeping both of their games in Estevan.

The Pee Wee 'AA' Indians won three of their four contests.

They split on Saturday against the Regina White Sox before taking two from the Regina Pacers.

Returning to league play, the Midget 'AAA' Indians had a tough weekend, dropping three of four.

Swift Current was shut-out twice by the Muenster Red Sox 2-0 and 5-0.

They were able to bounce back Sunday to defeat the Saskatoon Diamondbacks 11-9, but then dropped the back half to Saskatoon 9-5.
