The Swift Current Broncos have struggled on the road this season and are off to Lethbridge on Tuesday against a Hurricanes team that has fallen to the bottom of the WHL standings early in the 2013-14 season. We were joined by Hurricanes broadcaster Pat Siedlecki to discuss the current situation in Lethbridge leading into the first game of the season between the two clubs. We also talked more about the US Division road swing for the Broncos and the way they bounced back with a 3-1 home ice win over Edmonton on Saturday.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders lost a close game against Calgary on Saturday 29-25 and will finish second in the CFL's West Division. That means Calgary will get home field for the winner of Saskatchewan and BC in the first round of the playoffs. We'll get Calgary Sun writer Scott Fisher's take on that and maybe some of his thoughts on the WHL as he also covers that league for his newspaper.

Golden West Radio Riders reporter Marc Smith also joined us to talk Riders and to give us a look at the feeling in Moose Jaw after the Toronto Maple Leafs announced they're keeping former Warriors star Morgan Rielly in the NHL this season.

We also want your thoughts!

Join the discussion every Monday from 6pm to 7pm by texting us at 306-773-0941, tweeting Shawn @shawnmullin or come say hi at BP.

Overtime is brought to you by Home Hardware in downtown Swift Current.
