Two Swift Current Pee Wee 57’s players are in action as part of Team Saskatchewan at Baseball Canada’s 13U National Championships.

On the 13U Pee Wee Selects provincial team are Riley Bowers and Rylan Hildebrand, who are competing in Repentigny, Quebec.

Through three games for the pair of Pee Wee 57’s, Sask is 2-1, and sits in a tie for second place in Group B.

The team opened the tournament against a strong Quebec team, falling 18-8. Sask bounced back with a 12-8 win against British Columbia, and a 6-4 win over Ontario 2.

In five at-bats over the first three games, Bowers has three RBIs. Hildebrand is still searching for his first hit after three at-bats so far in the tournament.

With playoff aspirations, the team faces Prince Edward Island in their final game of round robin today.
