Legionnaires goalie Caleb Lumbard stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced

The Home Hardware Midget 'AAA' Legionnaires came up just short in their first home game in nearly a month.

Having not played at the Credit Union iPlex since September 27, the Legionnaires welcomed the Regina Pat Canadians for their second home game of the season, but came up just short in a 1-0 loss.

The defeat extends Swift Current current and season long four game losing streak.

Legionnaires' goalie Caleb Lumbard had a strong performance in net, stopping 29 of the 30 shots he faced in the losing cause.

All game long, Swift Current struggled to get much offense going against the Pat Canadians, as Regina held the Legionnaires to just 13 shots on net.

Swift Current will look to bounce back this afternoon in Regina, as the two teams play the back half of their weekend home-and-home series.
