J.D. Watt's powerplay goal in overtime has given Regina a 2-1 series lead against the Swift Current Broncos.

Watt's goal came eight minutes into OT on Regina's eighth powerplay of the game, for the 4-3 win.

The teams combined for 89 shots in a back-and-forth game that was filled with turnovers and scoring chances.  The Broncos led 1-0 after one on a goal by Eric Doyle.  They led 2-1 after two periods on a powerplay goal from David Stieler, but the Pats grabbed a 3-2 third period lead before Keegan Dansereau tied it to force overtime.

The Broncos have now lost six-straight home playoff games, dating back to 2004.

Game four goes tonight at 7:30pm from the Credit Union iplex.
