The Swift Current Pee Wee Rampage won the B-side championship at provincials over the weekend.

Competing in Prince Albert, the Rampage got off to tough start in Pool Play, losing their first two games.

They fell 4-1 to the Zone 5 South Energy before dropping a 7-3 decision to the Regina Rush.

However, from that point on the Pee Wee Rampage began to build momentum.

Swift Current picked up a 9-3 win over the Prince Albert 82's to round-out round robin play.

The Rampage then went on to take down the Yorkton Fighting Pikes 7-3 in their cross-over game, punching their ticket to the 'B' Final where they would once again meet Prince Albert.

In a close game, the Rampage got the better of the 82's for a second time picking up a 7-6 win.

For the Pee Wee team, the 'B' championship was just two weeks after earning a silver medal in the Southern Alberta League.

Meanwhile, it was a tougher weekend for the Bantam Rampage.

The Bantam's dropped all three of their Pool games and did not qualify for playoffs.

However, the Bantam's did have a pair of player's receive All-Star honours.

Both Jax Bymoen and Shane Friesen received the recognition.
