The league semi-finals were as far as the SWT Pee Wee AA Broncos could go in their quest for a third-straight South Saskatchewan Pee Wee AA Hockey League championship.

Coming off a 7-2 loss in Game 1 of their best-of-three series with the Weyburn Wings, the Pee Wee Broncos fell 4-1 in a must-win Game 2 in front of the home crowd at Fairview West arena.

The lone Swift goal came in the game's final minutes - with 3:20 left in regulation, Carson Sabine connected with Jace Bymoen to break up the shutout.

The Pee Wee Broncos cap off a season that saw them place third in the league with a 13-9-3 regular season record, before sweeping the Moose Jaw Warriors in Round 1 of playoffs.

Meanwhile for the league finals-bound Wings, they run into the league's top team - the Yorkton Terriers.
