In their first league game since October 28, the SWT Pee Wee AA Broncos were back in action over the weekend, splitting a pair of games on the road in Weyburn.

Swift Current dropped their Saturday contest with the Weyburn Wings in a tight 5-4 loss. They held a 4-3 lead through two periods, but couldn't fend off the hometown Wings for the final 20, allowing a pair in the third.

Then the Pee Wee AA Broncos rebounded with a 5-3 victory on Sunday for the split.

Sunday's game was yet another thriller, as both teams traded goals, with the Wings holding a narrow 3-2 lead through 40 minutes.

Into the third, the Broncos locked down Weyburn in the defensive zone, adding a trio of goals in the offensive end to secure the win.

Ryder Rommelaere and Parker Rondeau each had a pair of goals in the win, while Carter Tuplin chipped in with two assists.

Calder Jones recorded the win in net for the Pee Wee AA Broncos, who are back in action Wednesday night when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors.
