An evenly-matched game last night at Fairview East arena saw the SWT Pee Wee AA Broncos and Moose Jaw Warriors finish deadlocked at 4-4.

The first period provided no scoring for either team but both teams broke open in the middle frame, going back-and-forth in the process.

Moose Jaw scored early into the second to take the lead, but Hudson Darby buried a puck in the Warriors net just 1:23 after that to tie the game up.

Moose Jaw responding just over a minute later, but once again Swift tied it up. Jace Bymoen scored the first of two goals on the night to head into the second intermission tied 2-2.

The visiting Warriors grabbed the lead yet again four minutes into the third and stretched the lead to 4-2 as they added a second unanswered goal not long after.

Pee Wee Broncos Captain Carter Herman cut the lead to one just over three minutes later, and Bymoen struck again with four minutes left in the game to close out the scoreline on the night.

Bymoen led the way with a three-point night, adding an assist. Brayden Sumner added two helpers, and Ethan Winslow grabbed an assist as well.

Hunter Arntsen finished the game strong in net for Swift Current, who avoided dropping their last league game of 2017 in the comeback effort.

The Pee Wee Broncos (8-6-2) are off from league play until January 12 when they head on the road to face this same Moose Jaw team.
