Swift Current's Pee Wee AA baseball team will have a mountain to climb this season playing in the provincial AAA league.

"We kind of touched on that with the athletes that we will be playing some tough AAA opponents, and don't be discouraged", said coach Mike Kozyn. "We're always stressing compete... no matter what, we're going to compete."

Kozyn still believes they have what it takes to remain competitive with the AAA teams and he thinks they have a good shot at the AA provincials.

The Pee Wee AAs open the season at 1pm today at home against Yorkton.
