The Swift Current peewee 'AA' Southwest Terminal Broncos managed to keep the Melville Millionaires down over the weekend as they capitalized on both games they played the team in.

The first meetup between the two teams came on Saturday night, where Swift Current finished the game with a 4-3 final.

Swift Current made good use of their power play opportunities, with three of their four goals coming while on the man advantage.

In the second game, it was much of the same story as the day before. Swift Current scored three of their five goals during power plays, beating the Millionaires 5-2.

The two wins to start the Broncos' season puts them at the top of Southern Saskatchewan league standings, with Moose Jaw sitting at second with a 1-2-1 record.

The next time the Southwest Terminal Broncos play will be a rematch against the Millionaires next Saturday in the Horizon Credit Union Centre in Melville.
